How Does Our Hydraulic Valve Maintenance and Repair Service Work?

We begin by completely disassembling your valve and thoroughly cleaning and inspecting it to determine the source of the problem. We will replace anything that is likely to fail and needs to be replaced. We will repair anything that is broken or in need of repair. We put your valve through rigorous testing to ensure that the valve you receive is reliable.

Step-by-Step Hydraulic Valve Repair

If you've ever wondered how we repair hydraulic valves, here are the steps we take. When it comes to hydraulic control valve repair, we like to think we're a little more efficient than other hydraulic maintenance companies. This is how it works:

Determine the Valve Type - When we repair your hydraulic valve problem, your valve comes to us for repair under the supervision of a master hydraulic valve mechanic with years or even decades of experience. The first thing we have to do when we receive your valve is determine what kind of valve it is. A hydraulic valve is a very broad term that could refer to anything from a simple cam valve to a much more complex servo valve. We are equipped to handle any type of hydraulic valve, but the type will influence how we approach repairing your valve.

Disassemble the Valve - Once we've determined what we're dealing with, we disassemble the valve. Our technicians look for any type of defect, wear, or other issue that could be causing the valve to fail. We carefully inspect every aspect of the valve to detect any potential problems, such as a leaking O-ring or contamination affecting the spool.

Test the Systems to Find the Source of the Problem - Once that's done, it's ready to go to electrical, where we put it back together and begin electronically testing the systems to find the source of the problem. How long it takes to break down the valve depends on the complexity of the valve, but we take as long as is necessary to systematically separate every piece of the valve that could potentially have a problem with it. We leave no stone unturned in determining the source of your valve problem. If everything appears to be in order, we'll replace the soft seals, which is the next most likely source of the problem. To avoid contamination, we do this in a clean room or area. You can be confident that if anything moves or can be removed from the valve, we will disassemble it and inspect it for wear or damage. We will replace the seals as well as anything else that needs to be replaced to ensure that the valve meets OEM specifications. Contrary to popular belief, the spool, or core, of your hydraulic valve is frequently in good condition, which is why we recommend that you try hydraulic valve repair before replacing your valve. Most of the time, the problem is with the onboard electronics or a bad seal.

Reassemble and Perform Final Testing - Once we've identified all of the issues, replaced any worn out parts or seals, and tuned up the electronics, we'll reassemble everything and mount it on our sophisticated testing equipment to ensure that everything is operating according to OEM standards.
